The new administrative capital :Smart city

The Administrative Capital is the city ranked No. 12 among the smart cities in the world

First: The main components of the Administrative Capital as a smart city:

Unified Digital Infrastructure

The digital infrastructure is a major component of the infrastructure of the digital city, and it is the first stage of implementing the smart city, which relies on a broadband network of fiber optic cables that covers most of the city’s area and is linked with the internal networks and the fourth generation networks through interconnect adapters that ensure an appropriate distribution of the frequency space. It covers all the needs of the city and all its services.

Smart utility network

They are network systems that allow the management and operation of vital utilities (electricity - water - gas) in an efficient way in terms of cost and distribution. These networks can monitor consumption and extract information from distribution boards (main - sub) and digital smart meters. These smart networks enable the optimal use of facilities by distributing the surplus produced from one network to the other networks, which leads to load reduction, operation and maintenance costs, and ensuring the highest level of performance.

Smart sensors and sensors

It is a group of sensors, sensors and smart data converters that are integrated with each other through standard network protocols and managed through applications that can read, process and analyze data and display it in its final form through operation and control centers. Including, for example:

Surveillance Cameras.

Smart number systems.

Entry and exit control and gate security systems.

Smart waiting areas.

Traffic systems - transportation - smart roads.

Smart lighting systems.

Smart building management systems.

Intelligent civil protection systems.

Advertising systems (commercial - government) smart.

Security control center

It is a command and control center affiliated with the Ministry of the Interior that carries out control, control, insurance and protection of lives and public and private property through the use of communication and information technology to control all its police elements in the New Administrative Capital; The center monitors all events in all places in real time through surveillance cameras (6,500) first-stage cameras, and control sensors that transmit events through a data network covering all parts of the city. This data is displayed on display screens equipped with GIS applications and 3D incident management applications.

An appropriate number of recipients of communications (help - civil protection - traffic - public security - other departments) is allocated according to the population increase in the city and the diversity of its activities.

The security control center, in coordination with other security agencies, shares data and information for the purpose of coordinating security work.

City management and operation center

It is the management and operation center for the facilities and services of the New Administrative Capital. It is affiliated with the Capital Company. It carries out management, operation and follow-up of public utility networks (electricity, gas, water) and provides smart systems services through the use of information and communication technology.

The center provides paid services to citizens and businessmen through an automated accounting system.

The center follows up on malfunctions, works to prevent their occurrence, and is always ready to solve emergency problems.

The center is equipped with a system for receiving notifications to report emergency situations to deal with.

The center is equipped with a sufficient number of applications for facility management, lighting systems, automatic alarms, parking lots, waste disposal, ... and other systems, and provides free internet service in some public places and parks.
